Well, I said I would never do it again but I just couldn't resist the temtation of trying another out at the range, after looking at the new feed ramp on the KEL-TEC PF-9 pistol.

The all black beauty looks better to my eyes, however I was taken in by the polished feed ramp, something the other 3 KEL-TEC's we owned never seemed to have period. As they say, buff & polish goes a long way to improve one of these little pocket guns. We shall see today at the range.

If the wife can shoot it, without those Jams & Hangups, do to LIMP Wristing the pistol, this will be a good thing for her, as far as a carry gun goes with easy concealment. Time will tell!:D0 Other wise she is stuck with the Glock 26heaven forbid, as it never jams and shoots every type of jacketed bullet put into the magazine.:)

I just know you are all dying to hear about the results of the new PF-9 Kel-Tec! Well, we started off with Blazer FMJ 115 grain ammo and targets were set up at 6ft and 12ft......What did you expect? Hell, I can't see much further than that and don't need a 1-inch 50yd gun for car-jackers.

Now that little pocket pistol did right well at 6ft (slow fire) putting all 7 rounds into a 2.5 inch MOA. The next step back was a 12ft and that got a little hairy for this country boy. However, the little 9mm Luger landed all it's bullets into a 4 inch group and I was a happy camper.

The wife shot it some but didn't care of it she stated, as it seemed to hurt her already tender hand (arthrits) so no big deal there. I fired over 150 rounds through the pistol yesterday on double and triple targets. The pistol had NO JAMS or MISFIRES!!! It certainly did make a positive statement and it seems as though I got a keeper in this little pistols. One fellow did shoot the pistol at 30 feet and managed to keep all 7 shots withing a 9 inch paper plate.

I've also got arthritis in my hands and the heavier bullets in my pf9 were a but much so I loaded up some 95gr bullets and problem solved and it still runs like a champ.
