It's getting closer to Sept 11th opening of archery season in Arizona. One of my camera's caught this toad. Don't see much more growth out of this guy but it won't stop us from taking him opening day.

My youngest son just got back from a two day scouting trip south of Flagstaff. Saw a lot of elk. Thinks he saw around 20 if not more spike bulls. Saw seven nice bulls.

Should be a good year for us.

That is a beautiful bull. Good luck to you in September. If you caught him on cam recently, he should still be well within 'calling distance' by the 11th and I would imagine (having never hunted elk that far south) will be still in herd gathering mode.... i.e. easy pickins. :D
