Would anybody care to list their favorite webcam?
They can be hunting oriented but anything else of interest is good also.
Here's one that I enjoy, it's usually pretty active with deer, turkeys, or other assorted wildlife.

Mine's not exactly a web cam, but a satellite picture of Lake Erie (updated about 2 to 4 times a day).
In the winter it shows me the condition of the ice cover for ice fishing, And in the summer it shows the mud lines (and lake currents) after high winds or rains.
It actually will show any of the great lakes and other areas of the country by looking around at the different links to other pages...
Some days the cloud cover obscures the entire lake, but other days it's crystal clear.
In this pic you can see the last of the ice at the east end of Erie, and the mud line on Ontario where the Niagara River flows into the lake after a rainy and windy day (not good fishing conditions shown)..
This is about 90 miles of the 250 mile long lake...

Here's the link (for lake Erie), everything's pretty much cloudy right now...

"..in the woods of western PA..."
Woods? What woods? All I see is some tree trunks and a big patch of bare earth!
'Woods' and/or a 'forest' ought to have some understory and some ground cover, no? That patch is so god-awfully overbrowsed it looks... just like the 'woods' around here....

You can steer it around and see who's coming in on the sailboats... maybe even see a bikini or two.
You can find more down-island webcams on this site:

Here is a cool one that someone sent me. It's an underwater camera on a great walleyw river in Wisconsin. Earlier this year it was neat watching the walleyes on the spawning run:

Here is another one with pics of the BWCA. The default scene is downtown Ely, Minn but flip through the others. The 'Fall Lake' cam is especially interesting during the winter because they feed deer there and there is always a yardful. And the 'American Bear Center' has the largest known liivng black bear. Read the story behind that one.
