Holographic sight on Gamo

Just wondering. Does anybody know if they will stand up to the recoil on my "Whisper"? The scope that came with the gun package is not that great.

Sorry... Don't know... but they are getting cheap enough to give it a try! Cabela's sells one with their name on it. I don't know who the actual maker of it is though. I may put it on my RWS. I bought a couple of them a few years back and put one on my shotgun. I have since removed it as I temporarily used it to replace a Bushnell Holo sight that went down.

I don't think I would try a Holo sight or Eotech as they are too expensive to risk damaging them.

I'm willing to give it a try but it won't be until next spring.

Well I got a Tru-Glo & put it on the other day. Only have about 20 rounds thru it, but so far I like it.

How's it holding up?

Are there any disadvantages that you've noticed?

Can't say that there are any. It has great brightness & have found the clearest seems to be the lowest light setting even in daylight. Now that I get thinking there is one problem, the brightness level could almost be to much in very low light conditions.
