I just set out about a 3 lbs pork loin. When it gets half thawed I will cut it into steaks. I think I will cook about half as shnitzel tonight serving either Weiner Artz (No sauce and a squeeze of lemon) or as Jaeger schnitzel ( topped Brown gravy and mushrooms}. I am not sure what the sides will be but they will likely include oven roasted potatoes.

The other half with get grilled one evening this week as chops.

Well dinner turned into a true traditional German meal of schnitzel with a touch of lemon juice, French fries, fresh brocolli and German plum cake. I washed it down with a Clausthaler non-alcoholic beer brewed in Frankfurt am Maine, Germany. Now I am enjoying a cup of coffee and letting dinner settle.

There is just enough schnitzel left for me to slide between two slices of German sunflower seed bread I got from one of our German bakeries yesterday for a lunch. :)
