I work a lot in Raleigh and Charlotte, and often drive through Asheville, so I sometimes buy a NC non-resident license and go hunting with friends there for dove, deer and ducks on the coast, or by myself or with another friend for bear in the mountains. This year, my bear hunting friend hurt his back and is staying out of the mountains, just doing some quail hunting in SC and GA, so I might try to hog hunt NC or SC mountains after deer season ends.
