I'm not sure where to post this so this forum seemed as good as any. I have inherited a few boxes of old ammo, is this stuff worth anything? I am guessiing that it might be from the 60s or maybe even the 50s. Stuff like old green and red Remington rifle ammo and such. I figured someone here would know. If it is not worth much I would just as well shoot it like any other ammo.

I am sure like anything else collectable is a matter of exactly what it is in brand, cartridge and bullets weight/style.. I would run a search under "rifle cartridge collectors" and similar choices to try to find collectors or a collectors site.

I take all those old boxes and the ammo and set it in the back of my gun cabinet or display it on top. Unless it's in pristine condition and wrapped in plastic it's probably not gonna be worth much more than good conversation value. I'd keep em if I were you and just keep them hanging around.
