Dang! I lost my cat head biscuit recipes.

We had a recipe card for my MIL's baking powder biscuits & had posted it on the old forum. I guess it is lost forever. Clabber Girl is pretty close but Mrs. West isn't happy about it.

Does anyone have an old family recipe they'd like to share?

Cindi over at Brownie's Tavern has an Oliver that she probably would donate. Greybeard/

This looks like what I'm after.

Last week's biscuits were made with King Arthur Flour
and they were thirstier. I had to add at least another
third of a cup of buttermilk to get the dough to the
right consistency. Now I'm on the hunt for White Lilly
Flour.

Those biscuits sound delicious, but when
do you add the cats?

About three hours after running over them--

such comments as intentionally running over someone's cat make hunters look like a bunch of idiotic fools. I am both a cat lover and a dog lover...

god help anyone I catch intentionally harming my pets

I own four cats (or they own me) and am ridiculously dedicated to them.
That said, I love a good cat joke... :D

If you lived in Tok you could take a Joke but not in Talkeetna-Too many new sourdoughs and serious old hippies.

i enjoy a good joke... but I think when the joke resembles abuse and cruelty its not very funny any longer... likewises I believe most hunters are all in favor of quick humane kills when hunting...

The are called "cat's head biscuits" because they raise up to the size of a cat's head.

My wife is allergic to cats & is an infection control nurse. I refused to have an animal
in the house that defecates in a box, covers it up, and then walks on the counters/tables
where we prepare and eat our food. Please pass the biscuits.

We watched the finish-it was a bit late due to weathger in Nome etc-Todd palin was leading until just outside of Fai when he crashed and broke ski-- ah well another brutal AK experience- man that race is tougher then the iditarod.
