We had a chill too. It dropped into the 70's. I don't know about a fire just yet though. I'm just glad the money sucking AC isn't running.

it got down to about 40 Tues night. The days are typical of early fall - alternating between 70's and 80's with clear skies.

I never remember it getting below 50 in Aug, but the last two nights of Aug got down to 47 and 48. There are leaves turning fall color now, and that's 4 weeks early at least.

This past July 3rd I actually had to put on a jacket around midnight. Unheard of.

I'm getting the itch,

Only 3 weeks of AC all summer so It was a very enjoyable summer.

Now I spent all day yesterday watching 2 pro's work putting in all new windows in my home. Going to be a warmer winter.
