Shootin today I noticed the bubble level on my sight was missing.
I never use it but I gotta feel like it had just come off. Looked around where I was shooting from and didn't find it ... so ... I'm wonderin if it came off huntin or something and I didn't noticed it until today.
Doan figure though. I just don't think it's something I wouldn't notice right away.
Now I'll be lookin around for it every time I'm out there.
You're hunting already? Early opener!
I'm still pretty new to all the sights and stuff, so I pretty much check that every time I line up. I'd be willing to bet that you do, too, but that it's unconscious.
I'd be pretty surprised if it didn't turn out to be to have fallen off between the last place you shot the bow and the first place you noticed it missing... But if that's out in the woods, you'll probably never know either way....

I've had the bow out after crows but haven't got a shot yet this year and I've been shooting some at night at a friends shop.
Hope my lawnmower doan find it before I do but it's no big loss if it does. :D
It just bugs me to lose something.

I've never had one on any sight yet. I've got a slot for a level on my copper jon sight, but never added it.
I'm amazed at how often I find I'm canting a little bit. Might be partially because canting is good form for instinctive shooting, though....
I don't imagine it figures in very much for hunting shots inside of 25 yards or so, unless you're shooting down steeply from a stand or sitting in a chair/stand seat and not used to shooting that way....

I had one on a copper john sight. I had never had used one in the past and had to make a conscious effort to use it. It didn't last too long though, after just a few weeks I noticed it was missing. I always figured I would replace it but I never got around too it.
