Why aren't here more ring options for Ruger M77's?

Sure they have the bases machined into the receiver and Ruger supplies a ring set with their rifles, but that doesn't mean that some of us wouldn't like to try something else. I put a set of Talley's on my Cooper and they were the easiest rings that I ever installed and just the right height too.

I sympathize but I can see the point of a manufacturer of rings figuring that if supplied rings was a selling point of a rifle how many sets of rings am I going to actually sell for that rifle? I hear ya though.

Look at that beautiful set of stainless Talleys that Swamp has pictured at the top of the HA page. Those rings look like they would slide right on to a set of M77 bases. Then look at the chart availability for M77's... Near nothing.:(

the talley rings have a half inch dovetail... they will not fit the ruger model 77...
