I'm amazed how the the prices have risen.
Last year = $300
This year = $500 + and that's for the Romanian.
I guess everyone is thinking "ban" (bad word-sorry)

I wish they would knock off all that rediculous panic buying of ammo and primers. They need to quit anticipating Red Dawn.

The way things are moving so fast in DC the Mao boma express might just roll on over us before we know what hit us.

BILL MC,
Guns are a good investment. I recall in the 1990s, Chinese SKSs were going for $85.00, new in the box with sling, oiler, chest ammo pack and tools. At the last gun show in March they were, as you indicated, high and higher in price. The "Good" were $350-$400 and the "New" were over $550.00.

It's not the "Red", but rather the "Black", as in Hussein. Bill T.

There are still many out there. Remember, they come in as "kits", and are assembled here. If you want a nice clean AK, but don't want to part with a lot of coin. Try here:

Your local dealer can get anything they have for the usuall fee, and they are good to deal with. Bill T.

Thanks for the link. I especially like the fact that the ones they pictured don't seem to have muzzle brakes.

Bill Mc.........I remember when the clone's PTR-91 were $450 bucks and they chewed up .308 brass like something aweful. A month ago I saw a man pay $1,400 dollars for one of those Clones!.........Geez. It was made of all stamped parts too.:(
I also remember you could purchase a FAL (used military) for less than $500 dollars, now they are going for over $1,000 bucks. I purchased a new DSA FAL SA 58 for $2250 but it shoots better than some of my varmint/ predator rifles.
Yes indeed, this rifle shot .385-MOA for a 3 shot group last month at the range.......I would have never thought such a thing would happen and figured before hand It would do an honest 1.5 or 2 inches. Ammo shot was Winchester 147 grn hardball stuff.
So we took a break and decided to try once again with a 3 x 9 Luepold scope on top the barrel. Sure enough I cut the first two shots and pulled the 3rd a bit and it landed 1 inch out to the right. I fired two more groups and it clover leafed both shot groups. I now have a miltary long range varmint/predator rifle.;) :D :D :D
