Well I guess I should have seen it coming but I figured after the last go round, things had settled down for a spell. Ummmmmm, such was not the case in our house. Now right off the bat, I get these ultamatives like I want to have ........then the doorbell rang, Ka-ching Ka-ching. The local Baptist Minister was at the front door. So things got delayed just a wee bit and for the better I might say.

The tea has been drunk and the good bye's to the Pasture were said: Then it was back to the demands of my wife once more. It's driving me nuts you might say but what is a guy to do at my age but give in to the authority or shall I say her bankaccount.

It seems as though she now wants a new Sig P-239 pistol for her CCW weapon! I told her we went down this road before but she tells me that is before her shooting some 3,000 rounds of ammo at the range with half-dozen various pistols.

OK OK I said softly........She stated she wanted it ASAP!!! So we loaded up the Jeep and went to the gunstore. She kissed her GLOCK model 26 good-bye and welcomed her new baby in the form of a Sig Sauer P-239 in a .40 cal Smith & Wesson caliber. Holy Cow, I hope this is the end of the wife's pistol saga. By the way girls, she out shot me the other day with my Kimber 45 acp at 30 feet and I would have bet money that such a thing would never happen. Never under estimate the power of a women's mind Gents!!!;) :D

It is always a woman's prerogative to change her mind. She is getting into some top shelf pistols though and if they don't work for some reason, it might not be the fault of the pistol. Mrs. Hi Ball reminds me of my son's well healed godmother. The in-laws are standing in line to get her used stuff because lots of it still has the tags on it.

It is nice to have someone at your side, that is very capable of riding shotgun 24/7!!! The other day a long time friend of mine stopped by our place. He later asked the wife if she could hit an apple on a fence post at 20 ft. She told him that it would be a waste of good fruit but if he wanted to put the core on his head at 15 ft she would oblige his curiosity.

However, after he came into the house and saw some of her shot targets from the range the other day, he took back his curiosity and swallowed like a lump of sugar. He also asked her how long she's been shooting a pistol and did she go to school to learn. She told him about 4 or 5 months and 4000 rounds or so. Lessons are FREE!!! My husband does the tutoring.:)
