LL, what's the story on that buck on the left in the first picture? Was that an early spring picture when an older buck was just starting to grow his antlers? The pedicle base looks disproportionately large for the shorter length of the antler.

That picture was taken about 1.5 weeks ago. They were here eating corn at midnight this morning. I was up and saw them. Those piney woods genes have been like that for a long time around here. They don't have too much to eat.

The fawns pics were taken October 1- two days ago at high noon. They are always here. Pam wants to bring one in and pet it.

I never shot my yard deer either, but they always tempted me.

Those bushes were 16yrds from the kitchen sink. :cool:
