Bad enough the lazy people who are not injured or not yet reached the state age of using a xbow ( able bodied) are going to use a crossbow, but now they got even lazier. Too lazy to push a rod down a barrel. Now they will let them use single shot breech loading rifles during muzzleloader season. A freakin metallic cartridge rifle .
What is it coming to ? How much will government cater to the lazy able-bodied people ? Should we be thinking of buying stock in Crisco lard, and maybe Krispy Kreme doughnuts ?
I understand your discontent; However, the purpose of hunting regulations goes hand-in-hand with controlling game populations. The law is not there simply for our recreational pleasure. If enough game is not being harvested, new regulations may be needed. With the number of hunters dwindling, we may need to find new ways to increase harvest.

Does this law allow you to use a cartridge rifle too? Does it disallow you a choice?
Tomorrow is opening day of ML season here in eastern NC.
My Knights are all ready for the field but I'll be bowhunting. :)
Way I see it, as long as I can legally do what I prefer and enjoy, what possible difference should it make to me what you choose to do?
