After all these years of the wife and I camping in a tent, I am now the proud owner of a 1979 Apache hard-side pop-up camper.

Noting fancy inside, but the floors are solid, the lifts are good, the frame is sound, wiring is fine, and I can find no problems with the electric systems, plumbing, or propane system. And all for $700 to just get it out of the guy's driveway.

Bought it just in time to get it winterized. Now just have to wait for spring!

Looks like you got a great deal!!! Maybe you should have posted down under camping.

You need to talk to NCBoman. He bought and refurbished one about 2 years ago and can share a little experience,

yes it is, and at half market value or less to boot. ;)

I love mine but wish it was a newer model. It stays setup out back with a lot of my stuff in it, kinda like an extra huntin room. I'd have to clean it out to go anywhere. :D

nc, as soon as I heard about it, I sent the wife to the bank for the cash. I was very pleased to see that what I had heard about it was all truth. Now I just can't wait for spring to try it out.

MoMIKE, you got one of the best little campers every made and there were a bunch of people who pulled them during the 70's & 80's too. My wifes folks got one of the first ones made and it traveled the USA twice around before they branched out and got a bigger travel trailer. A good buy for sure!;)
