This post could be in any of the big game forums, but since you guys are into photography more, I'll put it here. We all like to take pictures of our kill and while I have not seen it so much in elk or moose, I've sure seen it in deer pictures where the tongue is hanging out like you just ran the thing down with your truck. I just opened my North American Whitetail magazine and there on page 20 is "North America's Largest Typical Whitetail Of The 2008 Season"... with his tongue hanging out in an otherwise great photograph. Guys it takes about two seconds to put your index finger on the tongue of a recently killed deer to push the tongue back in it's mouth. Your pictures will be better because of it. Or you get :p
