Has anyone tried ordering anything from Knight?
I know they stopped producing rifles but their web site says they
are still selling accessories.
I have a Knight disc rifle and some extra disc but would like to stock up
in case they stop making them. I can use different powder and bullets but
need the disc.
I'd hate to think I'd have to buy a new rifle just because I didn't have any disc.
I'm a little reluctant to order from a company that might go completely out
of business any day.
Anyone done any business with them?

Hey NC, let me know if you're successful ordering stuff from knight.
I've been trying to get through to them, off and on, for a few days
and all I get is a busy signal. Now I realize it's deer season in a lot
of places and they should be busy. It's because they're a company
that's having it's problems and I don't want to deal with a company
through the internet, not knowing if they are still viable or not.
I would feel better hearing a voice on the other end of the line.
I guess I'm just getting old and distrustful.:):(

My $0.02 - Buy any spares and supplies you need now.
When I heard that White Rifles was going under I immediately bought a spare trigger assembly, tools, breach plug, spring, etc.

Twanger I think you're giving good advice. I checked with a local
dealer and was told the salesman he used to by Knight stuff from
said Knight is just selling off inventory. He can't order any more stuff.
My problem is I have a Knight disc rifle that uses a round orange disc to
hold the 209 primer. I can use any powder or bullets but the gun is
useless without the disc.
I wouldn't be too happy if I have to buy another muzzleloader because
I couldn't get a little orange disc.
NC what were you looking for in bullets from Knight?
I shoot the 260 jacketed but couldn't find those either. The store I was at
did have a bunch of 300 grainers and some 260 lead.:(

260 lead would suit me fine.
I can't get an answer at Knight either and the website is hinky. :(

NC, I can't get through to Knight either.
Are you able to get those 260 lead bullets?
Are there any of the orange disc kicking around down your way?
Let me know if you want me to try to get those bullets.

I'm rather removed from any store that carrys much of anything.
I'll send you a pm. :)

It did take two tries to get through, but the calls were close together. Once I got to a person they were very helpful in helping me get the extra parts I wanted and yes they were in stock. My card has been charged per our conversation and we'll see what and when my spare parts arrive. I have no fantasy that this service will last forever, but it appears there is some time for us Knight fans to stock up on items you know your going to need.:) Breech plugs were my primary concern as they do not last forever.

:)
Thanks to purple heart, I now have enough knight bullets to last a long time ... lol
If a breech plug were to wear out, I'd probably just buy another gun. :D

I'm always in favor of buying another gun:D That being said, breech plugs don't have a real long life when using 209 primers and Triple Seven. Some estimates are as low as 100 shots...I don't buy that, but Knight confirms that Breech plugs are intended to be replaced as the flash hole enlarges from firing. Since my Knight Rifles aren't readily replaceable now, I opted for a few spare Breech plugs.
I'm happy to say they arrived from Knight yesterday:)
Hey just thought of something...maybe as the breech plug flash holes increase I'll switch to Blackhorn 209:D

how much for a new breech plug?

$20.99 a piece plus shipping. I bought four and paid $8 shipping so I ended up with 22.99 a piece in them. Once in a while you can pick one up somewhere else online for a bit less. Only Knight had the ones I needed in stock.

That ain't a bad price I guess.
Makes me wonder how many shots of 80gr 777 it would take to wear one out?
Does anybody know anything about their 'rolling block' rifles? For example, does that one require periodic replacement of parts the way the disc rifles do?
I see the rollers going for $170 or so... I still dislike in-lines just on principle, but in a state with a ML season success rate that runs short of 5% and eyes that don't do so well with thick brush as they used to.... Maybe a good deal on an ugly rifle isn't so bad after all...
