One has a long actio & one has a short action. I think the 110 is the short action, but I could be wrong.

The savage models 110-116 are basically the same gun... the older models don't have the round action with the accu trigger...

www.savagearms.com maybe you can figure it out from their website

10 and 11 are short action and 110 and 111 are long action. I don't know the difference between the models ending in 0 and the models ending in 1, tho.

The 10 and 110 have wood stocks. The 11 and 111 have synthetic stocks.

the savage rifles like this, with the synthetic stock, stainless, barrel, in caliber 338 win makes a really nice ELK rifle thats not all that expensive and can usually be located at significantly under list price
RON , one of my hunt camp friends has a blue steel/synthetic stock version he picked up USED for $370 years ago and its killed its share of game,it will shoot 3 shot 1" groups with the sierra 250 grain bullets and IMR 4350 any day, at 100 yards from the bench

The 10 and 110 have wood stocks. The 11 and 111 have synthetic stocks.

But some Model 10s come with synthetic stocks and some 11s come with wood stocks.

I went to savage arms web and the only difference i saw was that models 10and 11 are short actions, 110 and 111 are long actions. Other than that you seem to be able to choose what other options you want.

Robie, I and the wife both shoot Savage rifles for varmints and target shooting. If you decided on a Savage rifle, make sure you get one with the Accu-Trigger.....A Big Plus!!!;):)

I like my Accutrigger Savage .243, but I also like the plain old Stevens or 110's.
The best thing about Savage is the variety of models, especially in lefty.

Good luck with your. Our old 340 killed another deer this year. Accurate old gun.
