I don't have any photos to post but last night I did a big wild hog BBQ for friends and pulled out a Hankins Bowie to do the cutting. A somewhat thinner 01 blade with flat grind, giving it great cutting ability. Got a little discoloration from the meat cutting but some Flitz will solve that.

Anybody bought any new hardware or have anything interesting to report?

I imagine it will take a few weeks to get things back in order. I haven't been doing much knife stuff lately, but I'm planning another hog hunt to NorCal and noted that we don't seem to have a hog hunting forum any more. Anyway, it's good to have HA up and running again.

Yea, I kinda missed this place during the overhaul. I haven't bought a new knife in awhile either, though I do have a Dozier on order. It won't be here until about October though. It will be interesting to see how things develope in our new house.
