Took a day off of bow hunting (seen deer, but nothing in the freezer yet) and got out on Erie last Saturday.
What a beautiful day :) Except for the "in the dark" cold morning drive 4 miles out on the lake, it was like being out on a perfect May or early June day.
My buddy and I took home 50 really nice perch, some trying to hit the 14" mark, but not quite making it.
I'm going to try again Thursday if the rain holds off.
Our opening day for rifle deer is Saturday, so that will probably be it for a while.
