Grizzly or Black Bear

A year or so ago a well known guide shot a grizzly bear in Montana or maybe Idaho thinking it was a black bear or so he claimed. Can you identify this bear? I took this picture this past summer. You have 10 seconds to make your decision.

That hump on the back would let me make a decision in about one second. Even if wrong, those shoulders are too prominent to ignore.

I think its very apparent to the most casual obsever what the difference is between a grizzly and a black bear. How much more so for an experienced guide.

AK-49 I didn't need but 2 seconds to know it is a GRIZZLY BEAR!

Black Bears do not have a hump on their back for starters.
