Limbsaver Recoil Pad for H&R Ultra Slug

I have a 12 ga. H&R Ultra Slug gun with laminated stock and am thinking about putting a limbsaver pre-fit pad on it. The Limbsaver web site says to use the 10003 pad. Has anyone put one of these on their slug gun? Does it fit the stock very well, or am I better off going with a grind to fit?
