Tonight dinner was fried ham, blackeyed peas, white hominy and corn bread muffins with sweet onions plus pepper sauce for the peas. What was your New Year meal.

North Louisiana Sweet Potatoes, Fresh Garden Greens, Corn Bread, and Black-Eyed Peas; seasoned with tabasco vinegar and Ralph's essence.

We had NY Strip /Sc Bordelaise- twice baked pot, peas, for dinner and Crepes Suzette for dessert- BUT no Newe years day we went to old favorites- Blackeyed peas, ham hocks and corn bread. no cheese grits- maybe next week.
