temp is 27 so I just went outside and replaced the rabbits ice bowls with fresh water. Noticed how dry the air feels and made the mistake of looking at my oak seedlings in their pots. ... Soil very dry ... so I got to making trips inside with 2 gallon jugs for water ... while I was at it I thought my grapevines might benefit so I gave them drinks too.
didn't see any of the neighbors out watering plants or rabbits at 2 am. lol

Our temp is 10*f, and theres an honest 2' of snow on my shooting table outside right now. If you seen the Buffalo Bills game yesterday, you seen what we got today.
I screwed up yesterday, and am paying for it by being sick as a dog for the last 18 hours, but I got to get my ass outside to blow out the driveway because Sears is bringing a new dishwasher today.
I'm not bitchin', it's just that being stupid can be so painfull sometimes.... :dontknow:

I wish (Oh Lord, how I wish) it was that simple !!
It has to do with getting that transplant. It does weird things to your body. Don Wald and I would laugh at each other over the strange changes we went through. For me at first it was salt. Before the transplant I was a saltaholic, after transplant I literally could not eat ANYTHING that had ANY salt in it. Even the slightest amount was like dumping an entire pound of salt in my mouth and forcing me to swallow it. I remember the exact thing happen to Don, but for him it was venison. After the operation he would gag at the smell of it, and he loved it before.
It took me about a year to get over the salt thing.
The medications we had to take were VERY powerful, and had a lot of bad side effects.
One of the meds made you so emotional that Don said he would start crying at sad television commercials. I told him, "Don't feel bad, I cry if my wife tells me a robin landed on the front lawn".
I'm glad I'm all over that stuff. They lower your meds as you go along...
About 2 years ago, I suddenly could not eat eggs. I use to love hash with eggs, fried eggs, egg omelets, etc, but it got to where if I even ate French toast I would pay for it with (to put it delicately) excessive time on the "Thunder Box". :toilet:
Well......
I decided to eat 2 eggs for breakfast a couple days ago.....
:shot:
I should have drank a gallon of car anti-freeze for a chaser, at least it would have put it all to an end faster.
Man, I got so sick I was honestly hoping to pass out.
I would have kicked myself in the ass for being so stupid, but it's hard to do that while sitting on the Think & Stink Stool for hours at a time.
Well I learned my lesson for good, and I'm feelin' finer than frogs hair now, "So On With The Show".
At least Mama likes the new dish washer, and the install went great.

Well I knew you had the whole liver thing going on and didn't figure you had imbibed excessively but I never would have imagined the other stuff you were talking about.
Glad you're feeling better, better steer clear of those eggs from now on.

I doan know how all my potted seedlings are going to fare. All my outside pots are frozen solid.
Been planning a small greenhouse for several years but I think my habit of procrastination has caught up with me.
