These were the only pheasants in Russia :)
Well, our winters aren't survivable for them, so hunting near Moscow is based on introduced birds, and available for rich people. Our company serves them, and next day have hunting on survived pheasants (25-30%) as fee.
But wild pheasant hunting is not bad on South, near Caucas and Black Sea, where there is not snow in winter - their homeland is there. Caucas's pheasants differ a little - they haven't white ring on neck. And they run faster than dogs.
