As a matter of fact, he seems to give a good rating to the Gransfors Wildlife Hatchet.

With a few exceptions---such as big, hard-use hackers like my Busse Basic 9---I don't pay too much attention to the destruction tests. For most of my regular hunting and camping knives, they aren't terribly relevant.

Nonetheless, these tests can be entertaining and they keep the hard-use knife manufacturers honest.
