When she came to me this original Moore was in mediocre shape . Broken tang , stock was usable but cracked in a lot of places and the bores very bad but usable . The upper and lower rib was also loose
Customer wanted a new stock , re solder the barrels and clean up the bores . But he wanted as much of the original patina left on the hardware as was possible .
I explained that the barrels would need refinishing . Which I as you can see , I also did
Beings that was the case we decided to fit him proper so as the new stock would fit him . Which the old one did not .
While going over his measurements , he notices another finished SXS that I have that carries a very deep Australian type of cheek piece .. With that in mind he also requested that I not use walnut but something different . So after some discussion he decided on a piece of Black Limba with checkered wrist and forearm
so here she is ,,, finaly LOL
