Double words that you can't edit?

I've seen this a few times now and I'm wondering what kind of a glitch causes it? I know that I am typing a word that comes at the end of a sentence only once, but it shows up at the end and again at the beginning of the next line. I've seen it in other peoples posts too. I just tried to take out "weather" in that thread on snow and it is either there twice in a row or not at all when I try to edit it out. The edit version looks fine, but the saved version shows the double word again.

Damn it, I'm not imagining it. If it was only me stuttering I might suspect my fat finger typing skills, but it shows up in the #1 post by Gil Martin in the Hunting Rifle Forum in the FN Mauser thread. I know, now you sob's are going to say that you don't see "around" twice and that I'm hallucinating again.
