Question about regulations of Kennel Club (Britain)

What means this:

"Game that has been handled in any way, either dead or alive, must not be used for testing dogs in any part of a Field Trial"

Must it be only wild bird, or it may be pheasant from farm?

Kind of a guess here....

Sounds as if they want to make sure that there is no human scent on any bird that a dog might be sent out to find, so farmed pheasants should be OK if they are not set out by hand....
