Saw this on another forum. Surprised that Venado is falling down on the job and not keeping us informed about happenings in PA
"Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) just finished a review of PA's deer management practices and delivered it to the legislature recently, which is who paid to have it done. It was released to the public on Tuesday.
... one of the orgs (Unified Sportsmen of PA) that had demanded it and is now likely in turmoil over the fact that the WMI review generally supported current game commission deer management."

South Texas, you might want to check the parent forum of this thread "quality deer management". I'm not commenting on your eyesight, I'm just sayin'......:flute:

I thought that is what some on here predicted when it wa announced that they would be doing it.
Sadly, th USP asked for it and now aren't satisfied, sounds like their same old song and dance.

Yep, that's a predictable group. Some of the naysayers are trying to spin this report. Because it had some recommendations for improvement, somehow in their twisted logic, or lack of, they're claiming it as a failure, or a dismal failure, or a drastic failure, massive, severe, complete, (add any negative adjective) failure!
It's the "trying to save face" tactic I guess. I'm sure their anointed guru will be penning a newspaper column this weekend with his take on it. I'll predict it will either be slamming WMI for being paid off (the fix was in), or the pgc painted as dumbarses. Take your pick.
