Good Day of Fiahing

Bad day of catching. Caught 3 little bass early this morning. Tried for Crappie, Catfish and White bass. Drew a blank. Put some hours on the motor and burned up a lot of old gas though.

I am heading to Possum Kingdom State Park tomorrow and will camp one night. Monday morning we will launch our kayaks right below the dam and float until Thursday morning camping our way down the Brazos river on islands. Wanting to fish more than make miles we only plan to cover 20-30 miles in those 4 days. We may have to paddle upstream some to not travel further.:tongue:

Hopefully there will be a few trout left from winter stockings if the stripers have not eaten them. Then there are still stripers, large and small mouth bass and catfish.:smile:

I also found that when I make a mistake in a title of a post, it is carved in stone... to be seen for eternity as a testimony to my stuipity... :hahaha: :dong:

I went out on Lake Ontario last week with a neighbor. Fiahed (sympathy !!) for a lot of hours, and he got a nice 10 or 12 # Brown Trout, and I got skunked :thumpdown: . Only seen one other guy get a fiah all day, but it was well worth being out there. The lake was as smooth as glass, and it was just over 60* out. We had to take off all our coverall's and jackets. I told my neighbor "I could easily fall asleep right now"...

Today it's snowing, and 25 to 30 mph winds !!
