I was reading about reloading for the .219 Zipper. I always wanted a new Sharps in a light varmint round and the case is very similar to the .30-30 which Sharps DOES chamber for. CAN you get formed brass anymore? In a 30" light (for a Sharps) barrel what should the rate of twist be for 55 grain bullets?

I believe there is some case forming dies available to size down 30-30 casings to the 219 Zipper. RCBS and Redding come to mind. You would also need a case neck trimmer for uniformity and I would also anneal after first reforming and trimming.
Just so you know, a 219 Zipper is way smaller than a 222/223 and very similar to a Hornet so you can just imagine how much reforming needs to be done. Basically the only thing left unaltered is the rim.

But CAN a Sharps be built to fire and extract rimless cases like the .222 Remington or .223?

I don't know the answer to your question but you can find brass.
