for 45 acp do you need to use cast bullet load data for a round or can you use regular lead bullet load data? Thanks

Lyman reloading manuals list both cast and jacketed bullet loading data for the .45 ACP. The loads do vary a bit. Hope this helps. Take care...

Yes the data is different for the two types. Cast bullets are a larger diameter than jacketed bullets. The powder loads are less for the Cast than the jackets. Bigger diameter; lighter charge for the same velocity.
I load 5 grains of Bullseye behind a 200 SWC. They are extremely accurate and manageable. What are you planning?
