Hi all,
I've been here before and I still recognize a few names. It's been a few years.
This was my favorite topic and there isn't a Hello section. I just wanted to say Hi and I really missed being here.
Mr. DWK and I had some great discussions that I remember today. I hope to gently join in .
I'm recovering from a back injury, going through rehab after surgery, and probably am not going to hike much this summer.
So I hope to here some great stories and talk a little gear.
Again, I'm glad to be here and am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

Welcome back! I hope that your recovery goes swiftly and smoothly!

I'm in the process of a gradual move from CA to NV so I won't be doing any great adventures this summer. Had hoped to raft the Mountain River in the NWT but that will have to wait for next summer.

I've been continually upgrading the survival pack that I carry for hiking/hunting. At some point I may get one of those SPOT devices since I spend a fair amount of outdoor time solo.
