Sorry to disappear---been very busy with the new place in NV and trying to lease or sell the old one in Left Angeles.

I have taken the Rokon 2WD motorbike on a couple excursions into the Pine Nut Mountains behind my new place. Some very steep and rocky terrain up there. Lots of old mine sites. Also, lots of deer and eagles/hawks. I am told there is a substantial mountain lion population but so far I have seen only bobcat. They tell me that you don't have to draw for lion tags so when my 6 month new-resident wait is up, I may get one. I'll bet that the shepherds in the Pine Nut Mtns would be happy to have me assist with any lion problems.

I've lost 15 lbs now that I'm 30 miles from the nearest supermarket. I'm working on getting in better shape so I can take my Gary Fisher Superfly 100 mountain bike (lucked out---it was a gift) up in the hills. Nicest mountain bike I've ever ridden (and I rode a couple Specialized race bikes that cost around $8K).
