Hi guys.
The two of us are about to move to california and we both love our shooting here in australia.
Our parents will be moving to a mid point between Los Angeles and San Francisco
and we were wondering what the hunting is like and how far we would have to travel for it.
I think the San Benito range is the closet mountains to the area we will be living in,
the questions we have are what type of hunting is near that area and all the guys keep saying the bears and mountain lions are a big problem there ! is that true.
The only thing here that can eat us is the crocodile and they are way too far north for that to happen.
hope to get a reply as we have a lot more questions to ask.

Don't give up hope. There are just not a lot of California hunters here that have the knowledge to answer the specific questions you have. Cailfornia is not the greatest state for hunting though there is some. I would watch. If nothing else you may see a neighboring state you may wish to hunt. The system is totally different here.

Plenty of deer, wild pig, turkey and other game in the in the SB Mts. Bring your copper bullets.
