52F here right now (1 PM) with a 20 mph wind. The chill factor is LOW. It's only supposed to be in the low 70's the rest of the week. We've had a total of 1 day over 80 so far this year. Nothing in the garden has come up and the stuff we transplanted hasn't grown a bit. Farmers estimate that they're 21 days behind in growth right now. They're just starting to cut the 1st cutting of hay when they should be well into the 2d growth by now.
At work, we just transplanted about 1800 watermelons outside and they're getting beat to death by the wind. We planted about an acre of zucchini trial plots several weeks ago and just a few have come up.
If global warming gets any worse, we'll all die of heat stroke.

Summer started early here... In the 90's with humidity to match. Brutal out in the sun, but not too bad in the shade.
I just spent two weeks in the islands down near South America and the sun cuts through you like a laser down there. Thankfully it was cloudy a lot of the time.

Two attic ventilation jobs. The one I'm on now is a big residence and brutal isn't descriptive enough. 150+f inside the attic when I started. Installing baffles from inside the attic around the perimeter of the building. Tight and contorted work but I'm doing a good thing. Coming outside into 90+ temps is almost refreshing. Good thing I love doing this stuff ,,, stuff no one else will do. lol

Already sunny, hot and humid the heat index is already 91 degrees at 10:00. I am tearing of the eaves of the house and residing them. I have a clear 10 day forecast so I may be quitting around noon each day. We will see.

Watch those wasp.
I've been knocking off around noon lately and going back when normal folks get off work. I love summertime. Got up at 5 this morning and already got a good bit done.

It might actually hit 80 today, only the 2d time so far this year. Right now (6 AM) the humidity is about 50%. It'll go down this afternoon.
