That is because it is a nice one. The trouble with judging how big a black bear is on the hoof (paw) is that if they come in alone, you have nothing to scale it to. We always looked at the relationship of the head to the size of the body. If it has a big head in relation to the body size, then it is a smaller bear. The photos that HG put up show bears with relatively smaller heads in relationship to their body size which equal a more mature black bear. It always amazes me that something that big can exist in a woods by eating roots and berries.

If the bait is fish, then you have scales to weigh em on.

Judging black bear size is much more extensive then how there head squares too there body the bushman.

A couple of those bears are shooter sized you got in the pics Only problem is your hunting wisconsin which has much larger bears almost everywhere so you might as well hold off for the big one.

In a few years the wisconsin bear population is going to be hurting preaty good the way the dnr manages them so cherish it while you can.

ave to admit it's quite annoying when 3 of those are in your face. Kinda hard to aim when your screen is full of blinking red dots. And in a dark map like that, you're a pretty easy target for snipers when your head is covered with those

I'm going to have to agree with all of these statements but at some point you have to seek professional help.
