I havent seen many of these in wisconsin anybody else seen many in wisconsin

So is that one black in the summer and cinnamon in the fall, or....

I don't know the first thing about them, really, but I've always thought they'd be interesting to go after with the .54....

No they dont change color from fall to spring thats a brown or choclate colored black bear if there is any color phase in wisconsin that is the most common colored. A cinnamon would of been a lot lighter in color. I have a couple bears in minnesota with the same coloring one has a brown head the other is all chocolate.

GreenJeans I hope you had a more productive bear hunt than last year! I am hoping and praying both that I can go this coming spring. Things around here have been a real "**** shoot" since my diabetese acted up early this fall. I am getting things ready for next year's P-DOG hunt and possible bear hunt up in Canada too.
