Actually cooked domestic meat for father in law's 91st BD party yesterday- about 32 family showed- i did a brisket- pork shoulder and a turkey- some folks actually asked where's the venison- the moose- the halibut etc- well relax --i ain't gone balmy-turkey was from Xmas dinner we had to cancel cause of weather- pork shoulder was won at DU banquet and we love brisket(beef) cooked it in my lgs cooker(indirect) with charcoal and mesquite/apple wood-took about 12 hrs- all very good and enough left over for today.
we'll be replenishing our seafood this week in AK on our annual 8 day trip in SE with friends on their boat. Hopefully we'll again get some King/Dungie crab- shrimp- halibut and coho's. makes for a full freezer and great eating.
