I may use the Aim Sports on my .22 if I can find a decent mount/rings set for a Marlin Model 60. That would give me a squirrel rifle with 4-12 power and illuminated crosshairs. Watch out Rocky!!

Seriously, then I need a better choice to top my sweet little Sako Forester .243 Win. I am down to either the Leupold 4-12 with an adjustable objective or the Trijicon illuminated model in 4-12 power. Any experience or thoughts?

I think that since the Sako .243 is more of a hunting rifle than a varmint rifle that I would keep it simple and go with the Tijicon. I can't say that I ever thought that I could use a lighted reticle much, but I would take that over an adjustable objective for a hunting rifle. I have an AO on my Leupold 4.5-14 Vari-X lll on my .221 Fireball and for a varmint rifle like that I like it. It is just one more thing to mess with on a hunting rifle though and the variable power setting is enough to occupy my time with on my bigger rifles.
