For the sake of discussion: what has been your best handgun? what has been your worst? the ugliest?
The good: Springfield 1911-A1 Tactical Response .45auto.....chain blue lightning
The bad: S&W Sigma .40auto....okay as a doorstop
The ugly: Taurus M605 .357magnum.....but like an ugly woman she did the job right every time and never complained :cool1:

Craig,
Recall our Founding Father Benjamin Franklin said, "In the dark, all women are fair."
As a retired federal agent, I will say all my duty guns were fine. Yes, I often had a backup gun, but ALL did what was asked for and needed at the time of Gravest Extreme. Some guns were UGLY, but they did what needed to be done at the time. So, Beauty and Ugly are ONLY skin deep, but SERVICABILTY go clear to the bone! All my duty guns were serviceable and I am still collecting pension checks.
Parlour games on handgun appearance is a fun sport. When it gets down and dirty, reliable guns count however they "Look."

The best looking for me was my Colt Python, uglyest is my Glocks~! I loved my Colt model 70 series. However, dependability is what counts and I give the Glock an A on that report card.
