Anyone know anything about the new movie called Pendragon: Sword of his Father? We received notification about it from a homeschool group, and ended up ordering the movie. It's by Burns Family Studios, and sounds interesting.

The tagline says, "One of the most ambitious independent Christian movies ever produced". The back cover says, "As the Barbarian fleets descend on the coast, the people of Britian are left to defend themselves...The first independent Christian film of its kind, Burns 'Family Studios presents Pendragon: Sword of His Father, an epic adverture set in Britian's Dark Ages. With riveting action, stunning visuals, and a powerful score, Pendragon's message of faith, courage, and vision is sure to inspire our family for generations to come."

I'll let you know how it is (it came in the mail yesterday). Hopefully we'll get time to view it this weekend.

Waidmann, I had not heard anything about this movie but it sounds like something that my family would definitely get into to. They love the Narnia and Tolkien trilogy movies that have come out over the past ten years or so. I am waiting for this movie http://www.billytheearlyyears.com/ to come out on DVD. As far as I know it never made it to the theatres around here but it looks like a really good movie.

Deerslayer,

Here is one of the theater trailers.

Trailer (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ3GHrmaxAQ)

Also, here is a link to the Burns Family Studios (http://http://burnsfamilystudios.com/movies/pendragon/). There is a lot of info about it here.

I hope it's 3/4 as good as it looks.
