Where it's heading is that those who would control every aspect of our lives are now in control of the country. This country did a lot more than elect BH Obama to our highest office. It elected every one of his miscreant appointees to their respective offices. We haven't seen the last of DHS, FEMA, and whatever else they have in store for us. These people are dishonest to say the least. To call them diabolical and sinister is flattering. They do not have our best interest at heart.

I think they are scared to death someone's gonna take Obama out and want to appear to be aware of the various possibilities so homeland insecurity can stand tall when tshtf.
Personally, I think they should include the Clintons on the list. ... and that yelling preacher too.

When I got home from Nam in 69 it was assumed that I had to be an alcoholic,
drug addict or both. Now I guess I'm a right-wing extremist.
I'm just going to have to stay out of the woods and off the water because I
seem to be missing out on a lot of things that the government says I'm doing.
I do admit to terrorizing a deer now and then when I run up to them on my atv
in the dark going to my stand. And there's been a lucky day or two that I
might of terrorized a school of walleyes. If that's what an extremist is then I
guess I'm guilty. I'm still proud to be a veteran and served my country.:)

I saw this elsewhere and thought it appropriate to post here.
Riot in Boston, Scores Killed

Scores Killed, Hundreds Injured as Para-Military
Extremists Riot in Boston Area
National guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned assault weapons were ambushed on April 19th by elements of a paramilitary extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.
Speaking after the clash Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has links tothe radical right-wing tax protest movement. Gage blamed the extremists forrecent incidents of vandalism directed against internal revenue offices. The governor, who described the group's organizers as "criminals," issued an executive order authorizing the summary arrest of any individual who has interfered with the government's efforts to secure law and order.
The military raid on the extremist arsenal followed widespread refusal by the local citizenry to turn over recently outlawed assault weapons. Gage issued a ban on military-style assault weapons and ammunition earlier inthe week. This decision followed a meeting early this month between government and military leaders at which the governor authorized the forcible confiscation of illegal arms. One government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed out "none of these people would have been killed had the extremists obeyed the law and turned over their weapons voluntarily."
Government troops initially succeeded in confiscating a large supply of outlawed weapons and ammunition. However, troops attempting to seize arms and ammunition in Lexington met with resistance from heavily armed extremists who had been tipped off regarding the government's plans.During a tense standoff in Lexington 's town park, National Guard Colonel Francis Smith, commander of the government operation, ordered the armed group to surrender and return to their homes. The impasse was broken by a single shot, which was reportedly fired byone of the right-wing extremists.
Eight civilians were killed in the ensuing exchange. Ironically, the local citizenry blamed government forces rather than the extremists for the civilian deaths. Before order could be restored, armed citizens from surrounding areas had descended upon the guard units. Colonel Smith, finding his forces over-matched by the armed mob, ordered a retreat.
Governor Gage has called upon citizens to support the state/nationaljointtask force in its effort to restore law and order. The governor has also demanded the surrender of those responsible for planning and leading the attack against the government troops.Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock, who have been identified as "ringleaders" of the extremist faction, remain at large.

Hi.... The Truth.... You sound like a real gentleman or lady. I must correct you on a few things. First it was the left who foisted affirmative action mortgages on the nation that grew the bubble that eventually burst into economic malaise. The only other rebuttal to your assertions.... Bush made many mistakes and so have all other leaders. My only point in my previous post is that the left are the ones who demonize not the right. The right argues issues. The main one at the moment is the one that will bring O down. His insidius bent to spend and place the country in unbearable & unmanageable debt.

Obama at it again. Releases torture memos which makes the country look stupid to the rest of the world. Cheney complains and explains the documents on national TV. Result: Obama goes back on his word about not prosecuting torture participants [torture being waterboarding, ie part of our special forces training] and stated he will have Eric Holder look into the possibility of prosecuting the lawyers and policy makers involved with the memos.

I have been saying for over 15 years in the US now that by post WW-II standards our founding fathers who gave birth to our country would be TODAY considered deadly terrorists to be hunted down and eliminated.
Remember this: today it is only a matter of opinion or point of view defining the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist.
Does anyone think the reason osama obamas commy cronies are so afraid of recent vets is the fact they might just represent the source of the best trained people capable of resisting if it come down to that? and the fact that military personel would be HOPEFULLY unwilling to use deadly force on their former brothers in arms if so ordered by osama/obama?

I'm wonderin if he wants to privatize the military.
Who the hell would want to join when the country treats vets like this?

The difference between freedom fighter and terrorist only becomes clear after the winners re-write the history books to their liking. :p
But then again, I'm feeling particularly cynical today, so maybe I'm wrong.

I don't know about all of you guys (and ladies) but I have not met that many people who said they voted for obama, and I see a lot of people every day. Maybe I'm just associated with the wrong crowd?

Not many that I know and fewer here on this forum. But then this area is not Democratic territory.
