A father watched his young daughter playing in the garden.

He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and pure his little girl was.

Tears formed in his eyes as he thought about her seeing the wonders of nature through such innocent eyes.

Suddenly she just stopped and stared at the ground.

He went over to her to see what work of God had captured her attention.

'Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?' she asked..

'They're mating,' her father replied.

'What do you call the spider on top?' she asked.

'That's a Daddy Longlegs,' her father answered.

'So, the other one is a Mommy Longlegs?' the little girl asked.

As his heart soared with the joy of such a cute and innocent question he replied, 'No dear. Both of them are Daddy Longlegs.'

'The little girl, looking a little puzzled, thought for a moment, then lifted her foot and stomped them flat.

'Well, we're not having any of that gay crap in our garden,' she said.

:D:D:D that's my girl!

When my daughters were 7 and 9 I had taken them along to the local Mall.
As we entered there was a man dressed to kill, looking like Anna Nicole Smith.
EXCEPT for the fact that he had feet like Micheal Jordan, hands like Dan Blocker, and a fiveo'clock shadow of George Clooney. All the rest looked like Anna Nicole.

I listened to them as they looked staringly at him from ten feet away and whispered to each other as though they were two scientists making observation.
The youngest said, "look, theres a queer", the older one then corrected her saying, "naw, he's just a 'transvesite',maybe queer too".

Kids these days !:D:D

When my daughters were little we had an indoor cat that had been a famly pet since before they were born and they all loved it, but now it was old and had to be put down.

Knowing how much they all loved the cat, my wife and I fretted for over a week just how best we were going to break the bad news to them. The wife got out her book from parrenting class, but nothing to help us with this situation.

Finally we decided we had to just tell them.

We sat them all at the kitchen table and told them as delicately as possable, then braced for dealing with the expected wailing and tears.

Total silence ........

Then my second oldest broke the silence and asked if she could have the fur ?

Just when ya think ya got it all figured out ..... :D

:D GW, I'm impressed that a 9 year old knew the word "transvestite". ROFL!

And, Bayrat, that's a typical reaction from a kid that age.

Ann

And I have often wondered where they learned all that at thier age, but they were raised in the inner-city environment.
