Access to Body Armor

Many jurisdictions appropriately preclude former felons from buying or possessing body armor. However, there seems to be more lobbying to restrict access by folks who have clean records. In my part of CA it is nearly impossible to get a CCW, even though the law provides for their issuance. I am concerned that "regulation" of body armor will quickly degenerate into a "ban". Done. Sad news is that the results are78% for regulation and 22% for unrestricted sales.

I posted it on two other forums, both of which get more traffic, and hope that helps us a bit. Nonetheless, that score isn't too surprising considering the geopolitical factors and the extremely biased way in which the question is presented.
