Well I guess I'm the first of many I hope. Looking foward to hearing from the other brothers here and getting things back to where we were. I just hope we get more folks on board as things were kind of dying out as compared to years past. God Bless

I'm in too. It's great to be back with you all. I missed you for sure. This is part of my day, to stop in and visit.
I hope everyone knows it's back up and running. If anyone has email addresses of the other members, please advise them.
God Bless you all.

Has anyone been in contact with Motorman?
I PM'd Tin, but no reply yet. I'm not sure if the PM's work the same with this new set-up.

Yeah. You're right. It was getting pretty boring around here lately what with someone posting a Bible verse and everyone else just saying, "That's neat."
I miss the old days of arguing with the Mormons, arguing about evolution, Lars Drachma, and the like. Trouble is nobody ever convinced anyone else. Waste of time.
I wonder where Ringman is.

Indy, there no such thing as arguing the truth, I look at it this way, They get pointed to the Lord and if their not interested then they leave. Allot of good has come out of HA over the past 10 years.
This looks like it might be efun.

I'm not sure it was a complete waste of time. Personally I benefited quite a bit by some of the arguments. It gave me greater insight into "what" some of you believe, and "why" you believe it.
Recently I listened to a fellow church member complaining about an individual associated with another religion. I was able to correct his erroneous views (about this individuals religious beliefs) based solely on what I've learned here on the forum in some of our arguments.
I think as long as we remain civil with one another (would the Lord expect anything less?) we can all benefit from those kinds of discussions.
Ringman (Rich) is back. Glockist is back.
Great.
Just like old times!

Interestingly enough, I've had the same experience talking with some of my peers about Mormon beliefs. Funny how that works, eh?

I dunno. Jesus kicked the money changers asses and ran them out of church.

The Savior had the ability to discern a man's thoughts and the intent of his heart. Those of us with no such advantage should probably err on the side of kindness when dealing with our fellow man.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
So once you've identified them by their fruits, you can then follow the Savior's command to:
Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? (Matthew 5:44, 46)
