that cold weather up there.

Our nights are supposed to be in the 60s.

Low predicted tonight is 42 and freezing in the mountains.

I guess it's that dadburned global warming again.

Bill, we are trying as we had a hard frost up here last night again. That pretty well takes care of the mosquitoes for a while. Now I'm getting worried about Canada for fishing in a month. The camp owner always goes in the last week in May and last year it cost him a bunch of cash extra because he had to go in with a helicopter because the lake was still frozen over! If anything spring is even later this year. Third most snow in recorded history this last year up here. Send warmth.

OH well. Just thought I was sharing a good thing. Some folks don't appreciate the "air conditioning" though.

Been frost up here just about every night for the last couple a weeks.
And a hard freeze is suppose to happen tonight.
But it warms up pretty fast during the day.
Hell, I been swimming once already this year. Didn't mean to be, but just had to make it look like I ment to do it.
Slipped in right up to my neck while we were out netting smelts.:o
Told my partner, "no, there aint any smelts in this hole, I checked all the way to the bottom, nothing!":D

I live right next to a slow moving river so the temp doesnt go as low here as it does up in the hills but I still woke up to thirty six degrees this morning.
Yeah, global warming, that's what it is.

I'm getting tired of scraping my windshield every morning before work. Never got warmer than the 40's today and supposed to get down into the 20's again tonight.:(

20's! and here I was gonna gripe about a bit of frost on my windshield this morning. I suppose I won't complain. I've learned how to put enough clothes on to stay warm. Sherrif takes a dim view of it if I try to take enough off to be cool once it gets hot though.

We had a heavy frost too. I celebrated by going perch fishing in long johns, flannel shirt, coveralls, and heavy gloves.
Had to do an honest 30 miles of searching the lake (12 mile run to Canada & back, and they weren't there :( ) before I found the fish.
16 perch, 7 gobies, one white bass, a small mouth, and a frozen ass :p

48 here this morning. I built a small fire to take the chill of before everyone starts getting up.

Bill, only thing worse than fishin cold is cleaning fish cold. :D

It's even been cooler than usual down here in SE TX, 50 yesterday morning and 54 this morning early. I'm not complaining; I love the cool mornings, but it is a little unusual this late in May. Makes ya wonder just what ol' Mother Nature is up to.
