This looks like a pretty interesting instructional gathering if you're anywhere near SoCal. I've met and listened to Chris Nyerges and was very impressed. I think the price is pretty reasonable.

Yes, it would be nice if they did several at various locations around the country.

Some of the skills are things that I already do pretty well. However, with that much experience among the instructors, you can be pretty sure that you will learn at least a little from all of them and a lot from a few.

Well I decided to sign up for the thing. I am especially interested in making my own bow. I have one handmade longbow that I ordered from a custom bowyer many years ago but I've never built my own.

Once I get my own bow built, the real trick will be to take some game with it. Maybe start with some complacent coastal blacktail deer. I'd particularly like to bag a hog but having been charged while rifle hunting for them, I'll need to work up to that.
